In loving memory of Rowan Mae, born still on July 26, 2021, Montefiore Nyack Hospital recently unveiled its new Butterfly Suite, a private space designed for families navigating the heartbreaking experience of stillbirth. This special suite provides a comforting environment for families to grieve, reflect and honor their child in a safe, supportive space while providing the family with many comforts and amenities they need during their stay.

We are incredibly grateful to author and longtime friend James E. Alston for his generous donation to the Foundation in memory of his dear friend, Andrea Taylor-Benjamin, who lost her courageous battle with breast cancer. James’s heartfelt contribution to the 3rd Annual Rides & Strides event will make a lasting impact by ensuring that women who are underinsured, uninsured and medically underserved have access to the essential screening services they so desperately need. His support is a testament to the power of friendship and the enduring legacy of those we have lost.
