Montefiore Nyack Hospital’s Lab and Blood Bank welcomed Foundation Board members and staff for a behind-the-scenes tour showcasing the critical work that powers patient care every day.

In 2025 alone, more than 1.4 million tests were performed, with the lab consistently exceeding quality benchmarks—including 95%+ emergency department turnaround times. Advanced systems like pneumatic tubes deliver specimens within minutes, while some tests are completed in as little as three minutes, ensuring rapid diagnosis and treatment.
