4th Annual Rides & Strides: Another Record-Breaking Year!

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Montefiore Nyack Foundation proudly hosted its 4th Annual Rides & Strides at Rockland Lake State Park, bringing together our community in support of the Montefiore Nyack Hospital Breast Center.

This year’s event was another booming success, with over 900 participants registered, 776 attending on-site, and an incredible $180,000 raised. Thanks to this community’s generosity, we’ve now achieved more than $650,000 in total funds raised over four years!

Participants enjoyed a morning filled with energy, hope and connection. From walkers, runners and cyclists hitting the course, to families and friends cheering on their teams, the day was a true celebration of community spirit. Attendees received pink-themed swag, and our generous sponsors kept everyone fueled with refreshments at the food and water stations.

The Kids Fun Run once again stole the show, complete with face painting, balloon creations and lively entertainment from Lali the Clown and Minnie Mouse, spreading joy to our youngest participants and their families.

Thanks to the commitment of our sponsors, teams and supporters, the 4th Annual Rides & Strides was not only a day of fun and inspiration but also a powerful step forward in our fight to ensure every woman has access to the care she needs.

We Couldn’t Do It Without Our Committee & Volunteers

While Rides & Strides continues to grow each year, one thing remains constant — the heart and soul behind the scenes. We could not do any of this without our incredible Rides & Strides Committee and our amazing volunteers. Their dedication, creativity and boundless enthusiasm are the driving forces that make this event shine.

From early morning setup crews and registration helpers to cheerleaders along the course and team organizers who worked tirelessly for months, each person played a vital role in bringing this event to life. Our committee members pour their hearts into every detail — planning logistics, engaging sponsors, recruiting teams and making sure that every participant feels welcomed and inspired. Their teamwork and passion embody the very spirit of Montefiore Nyack’s mission: compassion, community and care for all.

And to our volunteers — you are the unsung heroes who make magic happen. Whether helping with set up and break down, handing out water and snacks, helping with the Kids Fun Run, or cheering with smiles that could light up the lake, your kindness and energy lift this event to extraordinary heights. Your willingness to give your time and your hearts make all the difference, and we are endlessly grateful for your support year after year.
