Community Connections: Subaru Cares
A warm, snuggly blanket can make a significant difference for patients receiving treatment at Montefiore Nyack’s Infusion Center. The comforting warmth helps ease the physical discomfort often associated with infusion treatments, providing a sense of security and relaxation. Additionally, the blankets offer emotional support, creating a cozy environment that can help alleviate anxiety and stress, making the treatment experience more bearable and compassionate.
Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru delivered boxes of blankets and comfort kits for patients receiving treatment at Montefiore Nyack’s Infusion Center. Dr. Mark Geller, President & CEO, Helen Hayes-Perkins, Director of Volunteers, Heather Boyle, Oncology Social Worker, and Jennifer Wagner, Senior Administrative Director of Women’s Health, Hematology Oncology Services, were on hand to accept this donation.
We are grateful for the support of the Subaru Loves to Care program in conjunction with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Thank you to Christopher Flood of Bill Kolb Subaru, and Megan Walsh and Daniela Vartuli from Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for making this generous donation possible.
