Community Connections: Montefiore Nyack Hospital’s Patient Closet

The National Council of Jewish Women has made a significant impact by collecting and donating clothing items for Montefiore Nyack Hospital’s Patient Closet. This thoughtful contribution helps provide essential items to patients in need.

Currently, our Patient Closet is running low, and we urgently require new sweatpants, sweatshirts, tee shirts, undergarments, socks, phone chargers, hearing aid batteries, puzzle books, and gift cards to CVS and Walgreens. The items you donate will help ensure our Patient Closet is stocked with things patients often need during their stay at the hospital and when being discharged to their next level of care. All items must be brand new.

Pictured from left to right: Dr. Anthony Matejicka, VP, Chief Medical Officer; Helen Hayes-Perkins, Director of Volunteer Services; Dr. Mark Geller, President & CEO; and Paul Adler, Foundation Board Chair, were all on hand to accept this generous donation delivered by Joan Birnbaum from NCJW.
To schedule your donation drop-off, please call the Foundation office at (845) 348-2770 or email mnh-foundation@montefiorenyack.org. Your support brings comfort and care to those who need it most!
