A Grateful Patient Shares Her Journey at the Breast Center
At Montefiore Nyack Hospital’s Breast Center, our mission is to provide expert care with compassion. Often, we are reminded of the profound impact our team makes on the lives of our patients.
We recently received a heartfelt letter from Donna M. who wanted to express her gratitude to the Breast Center team for their support during her breast biopsies and subsequent cancer diagnosis.
In her letter, Donna wrote:
“Words cannot fully express the gratitude I feel … Your compassion and delicate approach profoundly impacted my journey, making a daunting experience much easier to navigate. From our first interaction, your kindness was evident. You took the time to listen, answer my questions and address my concerns with patience and understanding. Each appointment and each conversation reinforced my sense of hope and determination. In times of uncertainty, your dedication shone like a beacon of light, guiding me through some of my darkest days. I truly believe that you are all angels on earth, fulfilling a calling to provide care and comfort to those in need.”
Donna concluded her letter with heartfelt thanks for not only the medical expertise but also the humanity and compassion of our team:
