We are incredibly grateful to author and longtime friend James E. Alston for his generous donation to the Foundation in memory of his dear friend, Andrea Taylor-Benjamin, who lost her courageous battle with breast cancer. James’ heartfelt contribution to the 3rd Annual Rides & Strides event will make a lasting impact by ensuring that women who are underinsured, uninsured and medically underserved have access to the essential screening services they so desperately need. His support is a testament to the power of friendship and the enduring legacy of those we have lost.

James’ commitment to the cause extends beyond this generous donation. A portion of all proceeds from the sale of his book is dedicated to the American Cancer Society, advancing the fight to find a cure and provide hope to millions impacted by this devastating disease.
