Montefiore Nyack Foundation Shares Hospital Highlights with Local Rotary Clubs

Over the past several weeks, the Montefiore Nyack Foundation has been on the move—making our rounds to local Rotary Club meetings to share exciting updates about Montefiore Nyack Hospital’s ongoing Transformation Project, recent accolades and other important facts about the care we provide to our community each and every day.

It has been a privilege to connect with these dedicated groups of civic leaders and community advocates. During each visit, we’ve had the opportunity to discuss the vital work happening at the Hospital—from investments in new technology and facility upgrades to the incredible achievements of our clinical teams to the impact of community support through the Foundation.

Our conversations included updates on:

  • Challenges of Medicare and Medicaid patients–Montefiore Nyack Hospital has an 85% patient payer mix
  • The Hospital Transformation Project—a multi-phase initiative designed to enhance patient care spaces and expand services
  • Recent accreditations and recognitions that highlight our commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety
  • Community-focused programs and services that ensure access to high-quality, compassionate care for all

These meetings have not only allowed us to share what’s happening at Montefiore Nyack but have also given us the chance to listen—to hear the questions, concerns and feedback from those who live and work in the communities we serve.

We extend our sincere thanks to each Rotary Club that graciously welcomed us and gave us the opportunity to present this valuable information. Your hospitality, thoughtful engagement and commitment to service truly reflect the spirit of community partnership we value so deeply.

We look forward to continuing these visits in the weeks ahead and to sharing even more updates as the Transformation Project progresses. If your Rotary Club would like to host us, we’d love to join you. Together, we are building a healthier Rockland—one conversation at a time.
