We are thrilled to announce the 2024 recipients of the prestigious Margaret Mary & Peter Kennedy Scholarship — Felourdes Camay, RN, and Lisa Silverman, RN! This honor recognizes two outstanding nurses who have demonstrated unwavering dedication to their profession and a commitment to furthering their education.

Made possible by the generous legacy of the late Margaret Mary & Peter Kennedy, this scholarship supports employees in their pursuit of higher education in nursing. Whether enrolled in an accredited Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree program in nursing or as a registered nurse working toward a Master’s Degree in nursing, healthcare or business, the scholarship empowers recipients to advance their knowledge and skills, ensuring the continued growth and excellence of healthcare in our community.

We were deeply honored to have Sarah Garland, granddaughter of Margaret Mary & Peter Kennedy, graciously attend the ceremony to represent her family. Her presence made the heartfelt presentation of the awards even more special, adding to the impact of her grandparents’ commitment to nurturing the future of nursing.

Felourdes and Lisa exemplify the values of compassion, excellence and dedication that are at the heart of our healthcare community.
