Rides & Strides
On Sunday, October 22, 2023, a multitude of families, friends, and co-workers, adorned in the color pink, gathered at Boulders Stadium in Pomona for the 2nd Annual Rides & Strides event, dedicated to supporting the Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Proceeds from Rides & Strides will play a vital role in ensuring that individuals who are underinsured, uninsured, and medically underserved have access to essential screening services on an annual basis.
Participants explored various cycling routes across the picturesque Hudson Valley and engaged in a 5K walk or run, winding through the scenic Samuel G. Fisher/Mt. Ivy Environmental Park. FIT4MOM Rockland orchestrated a Kids Fun Run, featuring entertainment from Lali the Clown and friends, offering a delightful array of games, face painting, and balloon animals.
In its inaugural two years, Rides & Strides achieved an impressive fundraising sum of more than $316,000! Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate hosting the 3rd Annual Rides & Strides at a NEW LOCATION – Rockland Lake State Park on Saturday, October 26, 2024.

Nyack Food & Wine
The inaugural Nyack Food & Wine event this past October exceeded all expectations, creating a tapestry of memories that will linger for years to come. The Valley Rock Inn & Mountain Club, nestled within the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains, served as the perfect backdrop for an indulgent culinary experience. Kevin Zraly, who has been described as America’s most famous and entertaining wine teacher, hosted this up-close three-course dinner and wine tasting event.
Yet, beyond sheer opulence, this event carried a noble purpose. It was a night of philanthropy, where every dish, every glass raised, contributed to a cause close to our hearts. A heartfelt applause to the incredible team that orchestrated this memorable night and to all who turned up to support this wonderful initiative.
We are looking forward to reprising this extraordinary event on Sunday, September 8, 2024!
