Phase II: A New Era of Healing – In Progress
Currently underway, Phase II features the Single Bed Transformation Project, reimagining patient spaces to provide greater privacy, comfort and safety. Every patient room is being transformed into a private healing environment that reflects our unwavering commitment to dignity and compassionate care.
In recognition of the importance of this effort, the Montefiore Nyack Foundation Board has thoughtfully transferred more than $1 million toward this initiative—demonstrating their steadfast commitment to enhancing patient experience and advancing the quality of care for all who come through our doors.

Phase III: Our Most Ambitious Chapter Yet
Phase III represents the most visible and transformative chapter of our journey—focused on reimagining how every patient, visitor and staff member experiences care from the moment they arrive.
A New Front Door to Care
Phase III centers around the construction of a state-of-the-art Reception Center, designed to enhance safety, accessibility and comfort while setting a new standard for patient-centered design.
Key Enhancements Include:
- Centralized Welcome and Check-in Hub for a streamlined arrival experience
- Secure and efficient Entryway that prioritizes safety and flow
- ADA-compliant Pedestrian Bridge and Elevator Tower for full accessibility
- Optimized Patient Flow and Visitor Comfort
- Integrated Emergency Communication and Response Systems
